I think it bodes well. We’ve had awful defence for years but although it was on and off,

Zimmerman, Klose and Hanley have been our best three centre backs for a while now. Lewis was brought in and he’s helped too. Then we had trouble creating. He’s brought in Hernandez, Leitner and also gone with four at the back and we’ve created loads. Srbeny and Oliveira haven’t been finishing but they’ve had chances.

I think it just shows that Farke and his team identify issues and know how to solve them. Just they without a s**tload of money it’s hard to do it fast enough in your first year without an issue popping up somewhere else. I’m hopeful that he’ll do a good job sorting us out for next season.

Only thing is if we lose too much talent then there’s no way we can replace it. Maddison is almost certainly off as is Wes. Pritchard already gone. Cantwell will come in but unproven at this level. Leitner would be a great addition. But losing guys like Lewis, Zimmerman and trybull would for me be the biggest fear and threat to Farke being successful.
