feels like Warner's days could be numbered regardless of how long his ban is. I suspect the hope/intention is that Smith can be rehabilitated and reintroduced to the test squad once it all dies down.

Very dubious that Lehman had no knowledge of it. In my book his teams behaviour has been poor now (sledging, the DRS cheating episode etc) for a few years and it flows from the top.
