and much (but perhaps not all) of what CA was doing via Facebook was perfectly legal (or at least could be done perfectly legally)

welcome to the world of big data and social media.

Perhaps people might start to realise just how much of their lives they have opened up to third parties online, in ways they wouldn't dream of in the offline world.
