The plan worked really well but we were not relegated first season up

The extra seasons in the Prem meant that plan had succeeded better than expected but possibly was not being followed at the end.

It was not clear what the plan was after relegation did come, even through we managed to get back quickly. Was there a strategic plan around this second promotion? If so was it followed? The first plan was very public, the follow up less so unless my memory is letting me down.
