Since then, Wenger has been left behind tactically by a host of elite managers that have been in charge of other too prem teams. He had an edge in the 90's and early to mid 2000's with his fitness/nutrition knowledge and shrewdness for a hidden gem in the transfer market, but the rest of the football world has caught up with him on those fronts now and he now looks a very ordinary, tactically limited, uninspiring man manager, who can't fix the issues because of the more level playing field. All of the factors have combined to cripple Arsenal's potential, although I agree that Highbury was a more ideal ground to play football at for a home side.
