damned sight cheaper than this route

5% interest (plus possibly 25% promotion bonus)
platform fees to Tifosy - 3-5%, maybe higher?
cost of the perks
legals and professional fees around planning and structuring the bond and PR
the immense faff of dealing with retail subscribers

seems an expensive funding model, unless they are actively choosing to involve fans and share the wealth of a promotion, which is sweet if they are (I'm too cynical though)
