I'm not sure the defence and defensive mid is sorted yet
We're just playing five defenders and one or two holding midfielders. Any team will be pretty solid doing that. But will also lose a lot of attacking threat, as transitions are too slow and we are simply not able to get enough players into the final third before the opposition defence retreats and gets organised.
I think long term, we'll have to go back to a back four, or at least play much more attacking wing-backs. Then we'll see if the defence is still solid. Hanley looks very impressive, but the other two CBs I'm not that convinced by.
