Would have been gutting to lose after that dominant
second half display. Feels almost as good as a win to get that equaliser, although really we needed to win that game to have a strong shot at reaching the play offs.
Maddison is going to be an incredible player in the future. Ipswich couldn't get near him today and he absolutely ran the game. He's already premier league quality with his agility, technique, passing, vision, dribbling and set piece abilities, but his potential ceiling is even higher than that. He looks better than a lot of the recent la masia products, put it that way.
Farke's system and style of play is great and it's clear that the foundations of the team are already set. Add a consistent forward and direct goal scoring number 9 to this side and it could be a real force. The obvious weakness of this team is a wide creator and a natural goal scorer in open play.
To see such a drastic change in the quality of the football played, during a highly transitional season, has been impressive. Watching how Ipswich hacked, dived and hoofed their way through the game certainly shows how much worse off Norwich fans could be.
