This I don't get. We are required to believe that he and his coterie we so desperate to win the election that they engaged in nefarious, possibly treasonous, collusion with the Russians. Simultaneously they didn't expect, and even more, didn't want to win the election. So much so that they were in tears of despair when he won.
Either one of these may be true. Both of them can't be.
