spent two weeks in the desert there

just the four of us, 360 degree flat surround sound desert. no comms, no transport, no nothing. the silence was incredible. hard to explain but it was the most incredible feeling of safety (dunno if that's the right word), being totally cut-off from the rest of the world. not long after we got back out of the desert osama bin loddon explodered up the world trade centre.
