Brentford the healthyish route.....

You can get the central line from Liverpool Street to Ealing Broadway and then walk to Brentford from there. Takes about 45 mins via some nice pubs.
The New Inn in South Ealing at half distance is nice for a few beers. Craft ales and such.
It's a bit of a QPR pub oddly but decent folk.
