agree with this. Buy a Mazda 3 or 6 which are far superior...
to any of the go-cart rubbish mentioned.
If you plan on keeping the car 8-10 years then go with something nice that gets the same MPG as the small cars.
Shame Nissan UK doesnt do the Altima which is a great car for the money and amazing MPG for its size.
