Do they have mail forwarding set up?

If so write to them at your address, it will get forwarded to their address, say we've had this delivery of whatever-it-was would you like us to return it for you or would you like to pick it up, here's our number by the way bell us one up.

Your M-i-L shouldn't really have accepted delivery but even so I'd resist any pressure to "forward it on" - there'll be a cost in that. Of course if they're prepared to meet that cost then go for it.

Disclaimer - I am not a lawyer. (I was going to use the usual acronym for that then remembered where I was)
