Putting things in perspective...
hadn't seen my next door neighbour for a good while. Thought she was home a lot and changed jobs to work from home or something (would hear her in the house as we're terraced.)
Then nothing since December with people I didn't recognise coming round the past couple of weeks.
Turns out she was taken to hospital just before christmas and died Christmas eve from stomach cancer.
Must have been quite unwell past few months so at home off work. Only in her early fifties.
Only knew her enough to say hello in passing and taking in the odd bit of post but it has made me quite sad.
Life's proper s**t at times.
