To be truly self-sufficient

will probably have to see all of Klose, Jerome, Martin, Oliveira, Wildschut, Wes, Tettey, Pinto, Jarvis, Naismith leave and replaced by players on lower wages, *and* still sell Pritchard and Maddison (depending on the size of fees received for some of the above).

This is why promotion this season was *so* important, and why some people are so hacked off that we've underperformed to such an extent.

It is possible to get promoted while being self-sufficient though. We did it under Lambert, and before that under Worthington (though there were fewer billionaire owners in the Champ then).

Just requires some s**t-hot recruitment and management.
