In this case though it's not so simple as just sacking a failing manager
like it was with Adams or Neil. Where they played a pretty conventional style and made fairly run of the mill signings. This time we have a squad comprising a load of new signings which were bought with this manager in mind, and who are the basis of the team for the next couple of years (especially so when Maddison, Pritchard, Oliveira etc.. move on).
What kind of replacement can you find to get the best out of a squad packed with players from the German lower league, who like to play slow football which is ineffective in this league? It's not impossible that Farke is still the best medium term solution given the mess we have got into thanks to recruitment of the last couple of years - particularly this summer.

- As Webber was responsible for hiring Farke, surely he's responsible for firing him (NCFC) - roedtonowhere, Dec 23, 13:47:21

- My view is that the German signings apart from Trybull are easily got rid of (NCFC) - roedtonowhere, Dec 23, 14:10:29
