I sit near the directors box
Whenever we're on a s**t run and are playing crap there are some "older" fans around me who like to show their displeasure by standing up, turning around to face Delia, Michael, McNally or whoever and shout something like "sort it out". I usually cringe when this happens. There was a lot of this tonight so I decided to turn around too and see if there was a reaction or if they even hear it. They don't.
What I did see was at half time Delia leaving her seat happy, embracing other people in the box like we were 4 nil up or something. I didn't really think anything about it but I watched her again at full time and it was the same. Happy, smiling when all the fans still in the ground including me were feeling the opposite.
Not sure what to make of it but my impression was she didn't give a s**t that we'd lost or even realises there's a problem. I heard the Delia out chants from the Barclay so she must have. It was pretty obvious to gage the fans mood at half and full time. I might be making something out of nothing. Who knows.
