Failing

McVeigh, Mulryne, Rivers. All naturally gifted players, but with a dodgy attitude. Surely part of management is sorting that out? Is there no-one amongst our battery of coaches, psychologists, scientists that can sort it out.
Well as Charlie played on Saturday, the natural replacement for Hux would surely be McVeigh? And Damo's form has slipped badly. But there's no replacement because Mulryne is unavailable. And wide right has been a problem all season - but of all the players Worthy has had there (and with the possible exception of Cooper) Rivers, on those rare occasions when he was fully fit and motivated has looked the best. Can't help feeling we've missed the best of 3 potentially very good players.
And then there's Briggs and Heckingbottom. OK they came from lower leagues, but they came in as model professionals - one a player of the season, the other a club captaion. Yet as soon as they get to Colney they turn into w**kers.
