No they didn't, they simply tried to blame the tories/government for it and in the
case of some figures (e.g. Mcdonnell) use it to try and create more division and stir up unrest.
Despite the fact that its quite probable that it will be found that reforms (or non reforms) to the Building Regs and general fire safety practice implemented under both labour and conservative governments contributed in part to the tragedy. are they "holding themselves to account" as well or just the "evil tories"?
It was a bl**dy great tragedy, everyone knew there needed to be an investigation, the causes established and people held to account if fault was found. Doesn't need them trying to take cynical advantage of the situation to fuel their class warfare strategy.
