I guess the Norwich vs England for footy success depends on whether footy is the be all and end all.
eg for me, in terms of national pride and moments of unadulterated sporting joy, it's incredibly difficult to choose between Wilkinson slotting that drop goal vs the Aussies or Mitchell-Blake bringing home the baton in the 4x100. And then there was the 2005 Ashes...
if all I was interested in was football, then I might be more bothered about an England WC win. But as it is, meh. Nodge over England.
(Mind you I reserve the right to change my mind should we get a sniff of a WC final berth...)
