Do I want us to have a stable and secure future? Of course

So how do you balance the two...?

Becuas eI don't think the aim of 'PL at all costs' is compatible with the second.

So I'd personally be happy to be a relatively secure being relatively competitive. So for me 'success' is being able to compete as a mid-to-upper Champ team whilst operating within our means.

I'm not sure it's actually a viable prospect given the money being pumped into other teams, so I think it's actually a fairly lofty ambition. I don't really see a future for genuinely self-sustaining clubs miuch above L1/lower champ these days.
