I've resigned myself to mid-table mediocrity this season

Will be tougher to compete with a much smaller budget next season but I don't think we need a billionaire backer to get promoted and be self-sustaining in the Prem (see the reign of P Lambert, or Burnley under Dyche). You just need a bloody good manager (and some decent players)!
