I test french pilots english and award them a rating which goes on their licence.

i did one this afternoon with a colleague, and i met an egyptian with really dodgy english. i wanted to fail him.

my colleague took me to one side after the exam to confer. i told him what i thought and he fought to allow him to pass.

He told me that the guy had already flown 1000 hours with Easyjet!!! WTF

I the end we did pass him, but only I had secured a decent lunch out of it
