Stadium tour review
Well finally signed up for the tour monday evening.arrived at the ground to be greeted by 3 men from the establishment wearing yellow and green ties.There was about 20 tourists mainly normal for Norfolk types except 1 man who said he was an Ipswich fan,I kid you not was this the Gelman ! Stood next to the pitch, not allowed onto the playing surface
(Ipswich playoff excluded) noticed it was like a bowling green mixture of grass and plastic how the modern football carnt control a ball on a surface like that is beyond me,after some of the Sunday league molehills ive played on.Onto the directors area sat outside in padded seats dissapointing not allowed in the box area.Next the trophy room 85 milk cup and several other cups a few more than i thought, good scrap metal value.Onto the changing rooms for team talk Surprised the away room was sparse and uninviting.Lasted 1 and a half hours. Hoped to see more of the other stands internal posh bits but just the city stand.It used to be a good deal with a meal at yellows thrown in ,now you can visit colney instead.For £20 each thought it a bit too pricy 3 out of 5 from me,god knows what the Ipswich fan thought !
