great tip for Vic Falls in the dry season which it should still be: Cross to Zambian side and there is usually a bunch of kids hanging around that'll take you across the falls themselves and to a plunge pool just over the lip that you can swim in. You have the Zambezi coming down behind you and either side, and can swim right up to the lip of the pool to look over the falls themselves.

There might be a couple of these - one is the Devil's Pool (User Posted Link but I'm sure the one I went to c 15 years ago was a few metres below the top of the falls whereas that article seems to suggest one at the very top.

Oh and the white water rafting is pretty fun. Especially when the guides tell you to jump in for a swim, then a few minutes later tell you that there are crocodiles in the water (there are, but just the baby ones that survive coming over the falls)

On reflection, you might want to check you have comprehensive life insurance if you follow these recommendations...
