he only had two good games in the Prem

both in games where our defence sat on the edge of the area and spend the game making blocks and winning headers. Basically ideally suited to his strengths.

Last season (and in this system we're playing now), he needed to defend much more against counter attacks - running a lot and playing on the half turn. And he was pretty poor at it.
