I seem to be in a minority of one but..

as pleased as I am with the result, I thought the performances against Sunderland (and at Fulham) were far better than last night. The first half yesterday seemed poor and excruciatingly at times, almost reverting to the levels and style of last season, a complete opposite of the new 'philosophy'. The second half was better, and both goals were pure class. However I do wonder what would have been the verdict if the result had not been so favourable.

I remain optimistic and very encouraged by the new regime, but hope we see more of the play from the Fulham and Sunderland games, which in my opinion was exquisite at times, despite the very negative reaction which it seems to draw from some fans. OTBC
