with a defence unit made up of players who we plucked from the 2nd /3rd level of german football and a goal keeper who before joining us had not played a first team game , and the only player with any experience played the previous week only because of an injection , and so i would still question his fitness

Its no wonder we got shafted

It maybe in the future we will look at this time and be proud that we had so many good players in our defence , and what we are watching are a group of rough diamonds , but someone needs to get polishing damn quickly

For the benefit of this post i assumed the defence unit was Gunn/Franke/Zimmerman & Martin
