There were quite a few errors but you're correct that the flying scenes

Were excellent . Bearing in mind there was no CGI all the flying was either with real planes or with models.
There are no flying Stukas anymore and I think no more HE 110s either , the last flying ones were Spanish built .
The one in the film was an RC model , very effective .
Also the me109 shouldn't have had yellow noses until later in the war .
One of the Spits was a dressed up Yak,a forward view from the cockpit shows a round engine cowling in one shot
