A lot of equipment in hospitals are provided by dedicated charities

I raised £3500 for The Papworth Hospital charity to buy 2 specialised intensive care chairs. The NHS wouldn't pay for them even though in a heart and lung hospital they need to sit people up in a chair when in intensive care.
