But why would he move for a massive cut in salary?

Is supposed to be on £50k a week at Norwich. am sure the club would take a couple of million just to get him off the payroll, but why would Naismith lose out on 2 years of ridiculous money here, because I doubt Rangers coukd stretch to half that salary.
