This is going to sound ridiculous....
But I'm quite glad he's leaving now, because had he stayed another season I think I would have become attached to him.
As it is, part of me feels like his season last year was a bit of a fluke (not for any rational reason, just because it came as a surprise), and one season isn't enough for me to really feel like he's a part of the club.
