I do, as I have said, accept that we may need to sell a couple of players and I can even accept that Howson might be one of them because he's never 100% fitted in to the team and is not irreplaceable.

I would still do so reluctantly though and as I have said not to a divisional promotion rival for the reported price. As it is we have gone out there, basically invited offers, named a price that I think is too low and flogged him at pretty much the first opportunity thus improving Middlesboro in the process. I would be holding out for sales to premier league clubs or until I was absolutely sure we can't get Jarvis, Naismith or Wildshutt off the books.

If we do sell Howson then I hope that means no Murphy sale but the vibe I get at the moment is that we will probably sell both.
