o is effectively a free agent albeit I assume we will have a right to compensation given his age.

I suppose we could chuck more money at him or you could argue that if he's really that promising then we should have got him tied down to a contract earlier but although I've seen his name crop up as a goalscorer regularly I've never heard him mentioned as one of the ones considered most likely to kick on and break into the first team. I get the impression Middleton and Cantwell are the highest rated of the attacking players although unfortunately they both play in the kind of attacking roles we are already well stocked in!
