Own fault
Have a remote opening gate on front drive. The timing is such from the trigger point to the gate that I either ought to brake, or go out onto a grass verge to come at a better angle. Today, for some unaccountable reason, I decided to do neither and see if the gap was big enough to straight line it. It wasn't!
My hands are now swathed in dressings and I look like The Mummy.
