That's exactly what my old man had.
All the fun of Alzheimer's and a lot of the fun of Parkinson's. He had hallucinations too before the more classic dementia kicked in, used to see cats, would often sit quietly for ages with mother and out of the blue say "oh, has our company gone now?" when they hadn't seen anyone all day - and that was when he was otherwise not particularly infirm.
