I watched my Dad's decline over many years, Mum managed to keep him under her roof until

he fell and broke his hip, over 7-8 years he just got more and more confused and for the last 2-years of his life he sometimes didn't know who people were and at times a cheerful man was very grumpy. It's a horrid thing to say but it was a kind relief when he went bless him.
