Just back from the game.

Well, just laying in bed catching up, but whatever.

The whole Brighton focus was inevitable I guess, but extremely annoying nonetheless. The ref seemed to want to be part of it as well. Pritchard was excellent, and for once the defence looked solid. If they'd played like that at the back away from home all season we'd be up. I'm sure I've posted my thoughts on Ryan FFS Bennett but he was decent last night. Oliveira had some lovely touches, but unfortunately no chances, Josh showed patches but I'd love to see him and his brother work on quick feet and close control like the Wessiah and Knockaert. Imagine that.

I've seen Maddison play more than once this season and nothing I've seen so far makes me think he won't be a success. I just hope it's with us for the next few seasons. As Wes sees out his days, sadly, he is a major reason for optimism, in my humble.

Summary: I'm looking forward to next season.
