Depends what part of Archant you're in
The journalists are abominably paid considering they're the main reason people buy the paper.
Ad reps get hampers, free cars for a month for the best performers, incentives to perform, decent salaries if they do perform etctec.
Journos get ?18,000 and a bully for a boss and an attitude that you should be grateful for a job.
