4231 is a bent up strategy imho

Up against anyone decent and the 2+3 get penned back into a 5, leaving the striker badly isolated.

Up against someone 'inferior ' the 3 go on the attack, meaning the 2 gave to be disciplined and cover them and 2x attack fullbacks who are practically wingers.

We simply don't have the centre backs or centre mids for this.
