I know this won't be popular but part of me thinks....

that a number of the defensive players are good enough but need a more organized defensive unit.
At this stage clearly a number of players either don't care or their confidence is totally shot.

This doesn't make them bad players, just players who are playing badly.

Ryan Benno never looked out of place in the PL nor did Klose......both now look totally shot even at this level. constant mistakes.
Canos, a player who couldn't even get a place on the bench seems to be holding well at this level with Brentford.

Redmond seems to have vastly improved since leaving us.........

Every player who left us has mentioned about the fitness levels expected at the new clubs........and we have conceded a ton of late/2nd half goals this season.
Clearly something is going on there. The data has to tell you that.
