Hamilton was abysmal - sorry

I know you are trying to draw comparisons between Worthington and Hamilton - in terms of money spent etc - and in some ways it is a valid point. Hamilton was maybe denied money, while Worthington was backed. However, Worthington firstly benefited from the ITV digital money to get quality in - which took us to the play offs. Then after finishing 8th as it was clear we lacked the quality needed to get us up, the board gambled on Huckerby, Mckenzie and Svensson and it paid off.

Finally - any manager which signed Raymond De Warrd has to be abysmal. I have never seen, ever, in my entire life, a more abysmal player - he was truely atrocious - ?250,000! I saw him on his debut at Loftus road, and I was cringing within 5 mins of seeing him at how abysmal and out of his depth he was! Worthington shipped him out pretty promptly.
