It's not an email
It's every time I log into the account it flashes up that I'm paying too much or too little, and would I like to adjust the "next 12 payments"
It goes away till you give another meter reading, and then they'll state where you are with your current payments
Here's my deal with it. I could just pay £85 a month and that nicely covers the year. In summer months the over spill would pay for winter etc
Instead their software reacts to the last couple of meter readings and trys to project to me that it's how I should budget the direct debit for the next year
That's what is pushy about it. They constantly suggest you should pay less and I've ignored this. I reacted last month and adjusted it down by £10. Now I've got my bill they're saying I'm 20 over and am behind
That's pretty frustrating, hence I call it pushy. It's not accurate and if I'd done what they said 6 months ago I'd probably be £100 in arrears
