Condolences big man. Lost my old mum in January so the emotions are quite fresh with me. Personally, speech wise, I just do notes and take it from there. Ad lib as much as possible. Either way, it's a very emotional event and those in attendance will be forgiving of the odd "cock up". Good luck to you pal.
