Maybe a switch of lifestyle.

Going back to cooking their own food and making their own coffee. While a number of these low paid retail jobs would go away. It won't hurt the economy as the money saved by the consumer will leave more disposable income......or maybe a lot of these companies will have to start paying better wages in a more competitive market. The reason they can currently get away with low wages is because of EU workers.
