Why is is a binary choice?

Plenty of people on here are constantly at each other's throats and have their favoured targets, so users may start out with genuine intentions but after relentless abuse whether deserved or not, many choose to push the buttons of others by continuing on the path that got them the abuse in the first place. In Essex's case, they're possibly thinking 'bugger it, I'm gonna get abuse regardless, but I'm a relentlessly positive person, still want to support my team and why the f**k should I let others dictate whether I continue to post or not? Plus if I continue my positivity I know it'll get up the nose of a few people I don't like, so win-win for me' That's my take on it. Trolls trolling trolls. All of them City fans. Except those that aren't.
