s'good, only touches on some of the dangers for migrants though

the ones who ride La bestia freight train are in serious danger of being robbed and/or murdered by people specifically looking for them and their fellow migrants, not to mention the cartels who actively try to intercept and catch them to be sold into slavery/prostitution, ransomed or simply raped and murdered for fun.

Then, if they actually reach the US border they have to run the gauntlet of merciless muggers who are happy to rob and/or kill them as they know they're carrying at least enough money to pay the polleros and coyotes who get them across the border.

If they make it that far, they then have to give their cash to the smugglers and hope that they too won't kill or rob them, and of course be aware of their fellow migrants who are often capable of doing that too once walking across the desert, stealing their water and money etc.

All to earn less than minimum wage working in a US factory or farm, supporting their low production costs.

of course you can easily get over the border illegally if you have a few thousand bucks. I know people who have done it - everyone gets a kickback, including US border patrol guards. Drugs, the same I assume.

This wall is complete nonsense. The "bad guys" will still do exactly as they please
