For many years I was always a part-timer, flitting-in & out sporadically, so I don't really expect a fanfare on each return as I never have much impact anyway (blub). I was away for the best part of three years this time round, for the record, though had been reading without logging-in for good chunks of that. Who knows when I'll disappear again...

The other week OG or OM was helping someone else out with finding the URL that gives them their oldest post. For me that's:

But this was just a test post after reconnecting to the net following a house move and what I didn't point out to OG/OM was that Ben had to wipe the archives to save bandwidth back then (a few months before I'd got back online) so everything prior to 2005 is missing, including the vast majority of my #OldWrath time on here with the #SquaresMassive post-Cardiff play-off. Shame, but those were the net conditions Ben had to face back then (or something).

Coincidentally I was wearing my old Wrath polo (as I am now; I gave most of my clothes to charity so what's left gets used regularly) after a veterans match in the Trafford Arms and one of my team recognised it, saying he was the model for the polo on the sales page!! Once he said that I immediately recognised his face from the old photos! Funny how the mind works.
