He has assembled a squad which is critically short on quality cover in certain key positions.

He really should have brought in another striker in January (or kept Morris), going with one left back in the squad was a big risk he chose to take and also I'm surprised he did not get some midfield cover on loan given he knew Dorrans and Thompson were basically out for the season and Mulumbus fitness can't be relied on.
