he posted a load of bulls**t about the manager being a useless muppet who had lost the dressing room etc etc so us playing well is something he said wasn't possible.

The thing about SCC is it's all about him, not the club (never seen a so-called fan consistently sound so tetchy and miserable when we play well), so if we HAD changed the manager as he demanded and were getting the results we are now and playing like this he'd be fawning all over it saying how it proved him right. Incidentally, he's also stopped posting all his crowing posts about how well Villa are doing for some reason.

Doubt many fans think we are likely to get promoted, but nothing in football is certain and we stand a better chance if we are playing well than if we are playing badly. We are at least generally playing better than we did earlier in the season when we were beating 's**t' teams. At some point, though, if we are to get promoted, we'll have to stop giving away cheap goals (I guess at least if we fail we'll do so in an entertaining manner!)
